I just discovered Floating IPS and am investigating it as an alternative to byuu's bps v02 utility for managing BPS patches (that older version is the last one I could get to reliably work from the CLI on Linux). If not, I hope you'll give some thought to perhaps adding it in the future. If I can accomplish something similar using the manifest functionality in flips then I'll switch over in a heartbeat as there are several definite advantages over the version of bps I'm using. Since then, I've converted all other patches in my collection to BPS just so I can embed the relevant metadata.Īnyway, I understand I likely won't change your mind about it's usefulness as we all have our own methods for dealing with this stuff, but just wanted to point out there's a use case you maybe hadn't considered.
